Format and Rules:
-
Format: We will be using a two section, six team ladder format. At the end of each draw, two teams from A will drop to B and two teams from B will move up to A.
-
Score: The standings for each draw will be determined by the number of wins. In the event of ties the records against each other will be used. If all else fails, total points will be used.
-
The winner of the final draw will determine the league champion. Should there be a tie for first in the final draw a playoff game will be scheduled.
-
The third will post the score on the score sheet at the end of the game as follows:
- Win plus the score differential e.g. W+3
- Loss minus the score differential e.g. L-3
- If the game was tied after regular play, enter W+0 or L-0 depending on the outcome of skip rocks
- If the game was won or lost by default, enter W+D of L-D
- Games:All games start at 6:30 p.m. sharp! No end can be started after 8:25 p.m. Each game is eight ends. If a game is tied, skip rocks, with sweeping, will be used to break the tie.
- Spares: Any female curling member of the club may be used as
a spare; non-members may play once in the league during the year ; at
least one team member must be present for a game to count (otherwise
it is noted as a default).
