Sign a Chit to pay at the Bar/Kitchen!The Board of Director's has approved a new Chit System for the Ottawa Curling Club in an effort to provide its members with a service available at many private clubs. Tab Application & Billing Process:A member interested in this service must complete an application and provide a credit card number or cash deposit. The member will then be allowed to run a Chit (Kitchen and Bar). There will be tab forms available at the bar and kitchen service counter for the members to fill out their orders. The server will then stamp the order in the member's presence, when it is complete, in an effort to insure the member that additions will not be made to that specific order. A new order form will need to be completed for each order. These forms will then be collected and tallied by the Manager daily and billed back to the member on a monthly basis. This amount is then charged within seven days to your credit card.The application form will have a statement that allows the Club to perform this transaction (an effort to alleviate payment problems and situations that can arise from such an occasion). This should prove to be an excellent service for members, providing a convenience within the Club that is sure to make your visits to the OCC that much more enjoyable.
