Club Championships

April 28-30 2008
at the Ottawa Curling Club

At the Ottawa Curling Club, at the end of the regular season, the winners of individual leagues play off in a double knockout format to declare an overall club champion.

Spots in the Championship will be offered as follows:

• Top 6 Cash league teams;
• 4 Monday Ladder teams;
• 1 Tuesday Business Ladies teams;
• 2 Thursday Business Mens teams;
• 1 Mixed league teams;
• 2 Saturday morning league teams.

Spots not accepted will be offered in the following order:

• 7th place Cash league
• 5th place Monday
• 2rd place Tuesday
• 3rd place Thursday
• 2nd place Mixed
• 3rd place Saturday
• 8th place Cash
• and so forth.

The draw will be seeded so that teams play other teams in their own leagues in the first round(s).See Draw here.

Qualifiers in each league will be determined by the league convenors, and the Match Convenor will have the unenviable task of determining the "fills" caused by duplications or lack of interest. Teams must consist of at least 2 of the team's original members. Spares must be OCC members.

Members qualifying on more than one team must choose one team only to play for. An individual who is eliminated from the championship may spare for one team.
